The Philharmonie Lounge is located on the first floor, directly next to the Alfried Krupp Hall. Originally planned as a cocktail bar during concert intermissions, this room is increasingly used for standing receptions, light refreshments, or as an additional workshop space.

The VIP Lounge at the Stadtgarten entrance is available as a retreat for moderators and speakers or for a confidential conversation.
